Debbie has been practicing yoga for ten years. She completed her teacher training through Yoga H'om in Pittsburgh, PA in 2008. Debbie opened The Yoga Whole studio here in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA in 2011 enjoying a daily commute up the stairs. Debbie is a certified prenatal yoga teacher (CPYT), gaining her certification in 2013 with Katie Wise and Kristen Warner of YoMama in Boulder, CO. Debbie, also trained with Katie Wise through YoMama's Birth Doula Training Program and became a Certified Birth Doula in 2015. She underwent the Lamaze Childbirth Education and while educational it didn't quite fit her style-so she is currently training with Katie Wise once again towards her certification as an Inspired Birth Childbirth Educator. Debbie branched out and gave birth to The Yoga Whole Birth Services late in 2014, her passion is suppling support to woman both during pregnancy, labor/delivery, and the twelve weeks (4th trimester) after a baby's birth, in other words, the whole way through this amazing and special time.
LYNNE SQUILLA
Lynne has taught ballroom, Latin, Swing and other popular dance for well over 25 years in between her professional career as a television documentary producer-writer. She has studied classical ballet and yoga for 11 years under private instructors and Latin dance through PA Tangos and Les Mills (Gold’s Gym) program, among other sources. Lynne was a member of Folkways Dance Company in the late 70’s, which performed throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, including the annual Pittsburgh Folk Festival at the Civic Arena. She studied Martha Graham and other modern dance technique as a student at Pennsylvania State University. For the Continental Dance Studios in Pittsburgh, Lynne taught Tango, Foxtrot, Swing, and Latin, in addition to choreographing championship show routines for students and instructors of the studios. Diverse organizations, including the Pittsburgh Zoo’s Human Resources Department (1920’s Charleston Marathon) have hired Lynne to teach popular dances to their employees. As President of the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation Board in 2006, for the fundraiser, An Evening on Grandview, she introduced dancing under the stars on an observation deck overlooking downtown Pittsburgh.
