BASIC (GENTLE) YOGA W/ DEBBIE

This class is appropriate for those who want a softer, slow-paced, compassionate introduction to yoga. With a focus on the students abilities and limitations this class provides a highly individualized approach to practice with on-going encouragement as well as appropriate adjustments and suggestions to enable the students to find ease within each posture. Yoga is a highly effective way to relieve stress and anxiety, by working on quieting the mind, slowing the breath and relieving tension in the body with gentle stretching, we hope that our students can discover the benefits of a yoga practice beyond the physical image that is typically portrayed in today’s media.


IMPROVEMENT BY MOVEMENT W/ LYNNE

Lynne created this unique class to the desires of students who wanted the benefits of a variety of wellness and fitness disciplines, without heavy impact or stress. Through easy, enjoyable exercises, simple poses and dance steps, students quickly feel at home as they increase their stamina, breath, flexibility, coordination, balance, and self-confidence. Lynne understands that the mind, body, and spirit all need to be kept engaged and healthy for a person to feel and function at his or her best. It is a philosophy and practice that Lynne has followed herself for many years, having both studied and taught everything from yoga and tai chi to dance and gentle weight workouts.


KID’S YOGA W/ KRISTEN

A beautiful way to introduce the practice of living well and feeling well to children through posture (finding focus, flexibility, and strength), breathing, stories, games and relaxation. A child must be old enough that with a grown-up/ teacher’s help they can appreciate and participate in the class. The age level that seems to work best for the kid’s class (mature 4 year olds) 5 and up.

ALL LEVELS YOGA W/ DEBBIE

This Hatha yoga based practice uses varying connected sequences of poses designed to improve strength, flexibility and concentration; also adding balancing poses, simple inversions and seated postures with a focus on the mindful linking of poses with the breath, as well as proper alignment.


POST NATAL YOGA W/ DEBBIE

This class is for new moms and infants who have received physicians clearance to return to exercise. This first year is important for healing and is a crucial year for connecting to other new moms. Allow this class to serve as a bridge to wellness that will help you to thrive as a new mom. The class will feature strong core work, and a mix of energizing yoga and rejuvenating poses. All this will be done in a space where your baby is welcome to nurse, nap or play. While napping babies will be allowed to be, awake babies can participate in class as “weights”, in shared mommy/me poses and enjoy an massage.


PRE-NATAL YOGA W/ DEBBIE

This empowering class will combine strength training, flexibility and focus, it is safe for all levels of pregnancy. Work will be done to open the pelvis, strengthen the lower back and to build endurance for childbirth. Pranayama (breath work) helps to calm the mind and buoy the spirit. Start building a community of other moms going through this same experiences, a perfect place to ask questions and share the joys and trials of pregnancy.


YOGA BASICS W/ DEBBIE

New to yoga? Yoga basics will introduce you to a practice that can bring strength, balance and flexibility to your life. This class will focus on holding poses while addressing proper alignment with an emphasis on quieting the mind. Basic classes are ideal for those who are newer to yoga or for those who are looking to take an in-depth look at the foundation of poses.
