Yoga Instructors

Debbie has been practicing yoga for ten years. She completed her teacher training through Yoga H'om in Pittsburgh, PA in 2008. Debbie opened The Yoga Whole studio here in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA in 2011 enjoying a daily commute up the stairs. Debbie is a certified prenatal yoga teacher (CPYT), gaining her certification in 2013 with Katie Wise and Kristen Warner of YoMama in Boulder, CO. Debbie, also trained with Katie Wise through YoMama's Birth Doula Training Program and became a Certified Birth Doula in 2015. She underwent the Lamaze Childbirth Education and while educational it didn't quite fit her style-so she is currently training with Katie Wise once again towards her certification as an Inspired Birth Childbirth Educator. Debbie branched out and gave birth to The Yoga Whole Birth Services late in 2014, her passion is suppling support to woman both during pregnancy, labor/delivery, and the twelve weeks (4th trimester) after a baby's birth, in other words, the whole way through this amazing and special time.

Kristen RYT 200, took her first yoga class as an Equestrian Studies student at Lake Erie College hoping to find a fun way to improve her skills as an equestrian. Finding that and more in yoga she completed her 200-hour certification at Yoga H’Om in 2009. The blending of her two passions, yoga and horseback riding was a natural transition as a student and a teacher that she continues to honor and share. Her yoga classes are cheerful and optimistic offering students a soothing environment to find peace and transform. Kristen continues to develop under teachers such as Desiree Rumbaugh, Leslie Kaminoff, Simon Park and received her Relax and Renew Yoga Teacher Certification under Judith Hanson Lasater in 2009. Kristen also teaches horseback riding, trains horses, regularly competes in equestrian competitions and is certified in equine and canine massage.
